Many people do not value the sanctity of marriage anymore. Movies and T.V. mock the union. There are always jokes about nagging wives or lazy husbands, but God's word has called us to have a different attitude and approach to this sacred covenant that we call marriage. John Piper recently preached several sermons on marriage. I was both encouraged and challenged to be a better wife after listening/reading his words.
